The hookless model expands tyre width into measured casing width and applies a size-specific maximum pressure. Wider casing volume lowers recommended pressure. Excess pressure produces bead unseat risk.
The hooked model retains the bead mechanically and uses a rounder casing estimate. At very low pressures the dominant modelled risks shift toward burping, rim strike and pinch-flat.
This model estimates pressure from system weight, tyre casing width and surface roughness. Rear pressure is higher because the rear wheel carries more static rider+bike load.
